Mr Ali Alhamdani is an experienced bariatric and upper GI surgeon who completed in basic and higher surgical training in Wales between 2003 and 2010. Having attained his FRCS and MD for research on Barrett’s oesophagus, Mr Alhamdani joined the largest bariatric surgery unit in the UK – in Sunderland in the North East. After a two-year fellowship he then moved to London, joining the bariatric team at The Whittington Hospital.

Since 2012 he has performed over 700 bariatric procedures with good results. He regularly attends national and international bariatric conferences and actively publishes his research work in international medical journals. He is also involved in national and international medical debates about the most recent advances in bariatric surgery.

Mr Alhamdani welcomes enquiries from all NHS or private patients.
